Regulated Mod Amp Draw Calculator

Use the below regulated mod calculator to calculate the amp draw from each battery so you can choose a battery with the correct discharge current rating from any device that uses constant watts, like a regulated e-cigarette.  This is more appropriate than an Ohm's Law calculator and is a better regulated battery draw calculator.  It will even automatically put together a list of batteries for you after calculating.

Just input how many batteries your device takes, how many watts it is being used at, and the mod's chipset efficiency.  A default mod chip efficiency of 90% has been chosen if you do not know your efficiency, this is generally regarded as a conservative estimate.

Number of batteries in the device:

Power (watts):

Mod efficiency (percentage):
Percentage should be entered as 2 digits (for example, 90 for 90% efficiency).

Result (Amps Per Battery):

WARNING: The required watts calculated is greater than 30 Amps. We do not recommend using any batteries in this range as continuous current ratings above 30A are usually inflated. Extreme caution should be used when selecting these high output batteries, with the full knowledge that amp ratings are solely up to the discretion of the manufacturer and are not certified, guaranteed, or endorsed by LiionWholesale in any way.
