Runs quietly moves a lot of air for its size. Runs well on Samsung 35E Battery
Forgot to add in my previous review!!!
Just wanted to add that if you are running this fan on 18650 Batt's.... It won't hose your battery's. The fan will shutdown when the batt'***** between 3.0 and 3.1 volts. Well within the safe limit of discharge.
I have to admit I was a little skeptical about buying this. But for 7.99 you are getting one heck of little fan. It does move a good amount of air even on it's low speed. Aside from being a personal fan.... I've used it to help air dry my vape atty's after I clean them. I've used it to blow air across my chargers to keep the batt's nice and cool. Also you will only get the three fan speeds with the battery only. USB power with or without the battery you will only get the low speed. But again the low speed does move a decent amount of air. If your going to run this fan from a power bank (Battery Pack) , some of them have a minimum current draw to stay on. The xtar pb2 power bank I'm using is close to 200ma (0.2amps) to maintain power output. The fan does not draw this (Fan draws about 170ma on low speed) so the bank shuts down. Fixed that problem by adding an inline usb volt/amp meter with it. The other power banks I have don't have a problem with it. The only con I can come up with is you can't tilt it. Now really... How hard is it to come up with a way to tilt it!!!
I love this fan. It’s portable and I can keep it near me at all times. Throws a nice breeze and runs forever on a 18650 battery.
It is what it says it is - a personal fan
When I unboxed my shipment I tested both fans via the USB ports. Both worked just fine. I haven't dug out any 18650f cells yet, but I have every expectation that they will work just fine. And they are definitely 'personal' fans. They blow a nice quiet steady stream of air, just strong enough to reach the person using it. We are sometimes subject to power failures during winter blizzards and summer storms. This fan will be ideal for moving a little air around near me to increase my comfort when the heat and/or A/C isn't working.
