Here are our most frequently asked questions:
I'm a commercial customer and I want to buy a lot of batteries, either very frequent bulk orders or large one time orders. Is the pricing on your website the best you can do?
Yes absolutely! Just when you sign up for your account select that you're a consumer from the drop down and you're good to go! You can even buy at bulk prices if you've got some friends who want some batteries or you just use that many batteries on your own.
I'm a commercial customer in PA but your cart shows that I need to pay sales tax - how do I fix this?
Businesses in PA just need to send us a REV-1220 tax exemption form, with your sales tax license number on it, and we can mark your account as exempt from tax. If you're in a hurry, you can place your first order with tax and then send us the paperwork and we can refund the tax when we get the paperwork.

If you don't have a sales tax license, it's required for anyone selling products in PA so you'll need it anyway. To get one, simply go to http://www.pa100.state.pa.us/ and register for one. When you have it or if you already have one, just email the REV-1220 form to email@example.com and we'll exempt you from tax on all future orders. You can also fax it to 888-972-2883 if you prefer.
We can get pretty much any battery if you are buying in quantity. In addition, we always have small stocks of many batteries that aren't on the website. Contact Us if you're looking for something.
Yes, the batteries are genuine. We operate on a bulk model and therefore can pass the savings to you. All batteries are extensively tested and we have electrical engineering expertise in house, we can tell the difference.
I got my batteries and I'm not sure they're authentic like you claim, can you address my concerns?
This is a common question, but it's always just some kind of misunderstanding or there are some confusing or incorrect information someone has seen. Every battery we sell is absolutely authentic - it's our specialty! We have a whole page dedicated to explaining the common reasons people mistakenly think they're not authentic here.
Where is my order?
You should have been sent tracking information to your emall address within one business day of your order. If it looks like it's lost or something's wrong with shipping, don't hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can make it right.
Where do you ship to?
USA & Canada:
We ship to the USA (including Puerto Rico and other territories), and Canada for orders of any size (other countries see next paragraph). Canadian orders can now use our website and don't need to contact us, although if you're looking to order bulk (a few hundred batteries) we encourage you to Contact Us for your options since we can offer better prices shipped direct from Asia to Canada in this case.
International Taxes & Duties
If you ship your order outside of the US, the shipping quote provided is for shipping services only. If taxes and duties are due upon import to your country (including Canada), you are responsible for paying them at the time of import. If your package is returned for non-payment of taxes & duties, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of the return shipping fees from your return and further disciplinary action may be taken on your account.
Mexico: As of August 2017, we regret that we no longer sell to Mexico.
Countries that are not listed on our site (currently North America only):
For other countries worldwide, we only offer bulk orders on 500+ batteries. We do not quote or accept smaller orders at this time. If you are looking to order bulk in these quantities, then we can offer wholesale prices very competitive globally. Contact Us with what you'd like to order and your address if you're interested in a quote.* (Commercial customers who want to order a small sample are welcome to contact us.)
HOLIDAY SHIPPING DEADLINES:
During the holidays, we have a helpful table of shipping cutoff times and critical carrier information! Please refer to our Holiday Schedule.
Generally, we ship orders Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Orders shipping placed before 1PM EST M-F will ship the same day (US/Canada shipments) unless otherwise mentioned on our site. Orders placed after that will go out the next business day.
Special cases: Orders placed between 1pm-4pm EST may ship that day, based on our ability, the order size, and order volume, but it is NOT guaranteed. If you need to verify when your order will ship, please use the Contact Us form or call us at 888-972-2883 to verify when your order will ship.
International orders (outside the US/Canada): International orders may take a few additional days to process and ship. Please use the Contact Us form or call us at 888-972-2883 to verify when your order will ship.
Saturday Shipping: We regret that we are unable to ship on Saturdays.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Important: During the holidays (Nov 22-Dec 24), UPS is suspending their time in transit guarantee for UPS Ground shipments. Please see our Holiday Shipping schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please visit ups.com for more information.
NEW SHIPPING POLICY
Due to changes in shipping regulations, we have new policies regarding shipments containing batteries. Please read here about the new policies and find out what the best method is for you.
Time in Transit Estimates & Guarantees*
IMPORTANT: During the holidays (11/23-12/24) UPS Ground is not guaranteed time in transit. During the holidays, we suggest UPS as the most reliable, but cannot guarantee your package will arrive by a specific date (including Christmas).
*Estimated Time in Transit: All USPS Methods (First Class, Priority, Parcel Select) are estimated time in transit ONLY. These are estimates, for informational purposes ONLY, and do not come with any kind of guarantee should your package be delayed (even substantially). We do guarantee it will arrive eventually, please see the next question for details on each method.
**Guaranteed Time in Transit: Where applicable, some methods (UPS Ground, UPS Air) offer guaranteed time in transit within the continental US. If UPS fails to deliver your package by the specified delivery date, we will refund the shipping cost upon request.* (Not applicable 11/22-1/2 to UPS Ground). (UPS Air packages are 3-Day, 2-Day, and Next Day shipments only).
*Note that our ability to refund UPS shipping charges may require your assistance and/or verification of information to UPS before we can issue the refund, and is ultimately up to the sole discretion of UPS. UPS will not honor time in transit in cases where the recipient is unavailable, during inclement weather, or during certain peak periods (e.g., Thanksgiving or Christmas).
Important note about USPS Parcel Select: This is a economy method only that can take weeks to arrive. Please do not select USPS Parcel Select if you are not prepared to wait for your package! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS METHOD FOR HOLIDAY SHIPMENTS!
Important: PARCEL SELECT PACKAGES ARE NOT A GUARANTEED TIME IN TRANSIT METHOD. They may take a month, or more to arrive. We will not replace shipments that have been delayed using Parcel Select 30 days (or more) have passed and replacement is at our discretion.
International shipments: We provide an estimated arrival date for information purposes ONLY. International shipments can be delayed for many reasons outside of our control, or the shipping provider's control, including delays in customs.
International orders: We reserve the right to take more time to process international orders. Need to know when it will ship? Please contact us before placing your order.
I ordered USPS First Class/Priority Mail and it's been longer than the number of days I was shown in checkout - or - I ordered Priority Mail and USPS has delayed my package. Can I get my money back? Or will you ship another package to me?
As specified in our cart/checkout, First Class/Priority Mail estimates are estimates only and do not include handling time or the date of shipment. We cannot be responsible for Priority Mail delays in transit. They do not come with a money back/replacement guarantee.
We will only ship a replacement in cases where USPS has lost the shipment and reshipment is only at our discretion. If your shipment has been delayed and has not been reported lost by USPS, we require a waiting period of either 7 days from the original order's estimated delivery date or 7 days from the date you contact us to report a delayed shipment (whichever is more) to give USPS time to locate the shipment. We reserve the right to deny any claim if the package is showing movement in USPS tracking.
I ordered Parcel Select (Economy Shipping) and my package hasn't arrived yet. What do I do?
Parcel Select is a SLOW ECONOMY method of shipment and may take 1-2 weeks, or more, to arrive. If your shipment has been delayed, we require a 30 day waiting period from the date of shipment and reshipment is only at our discretion.
DO NOT CHOOSE PARCEL SELECT for shipments needed by Christmas.
My order shows as delivered, but I didn't get it. What should I do?
Please check with your roommates and neighbors first. Also, it can happen that shipments show as "delivered" a day or two before they actually arrive.
If your order still has not arrived, and you've checked with other possible recipients, we strongly suggest you file a Mail Theft report with the US Postal Service.
If you are concerned, we strongly suggest choosing UPS Ground instead, which is both insured and guaranteed time in transit*.
*During the holidays (Nov 22-Dec 24th), is NOT guaranteed time in transit. Please leave adequate time for your package to arrive. See our Holiday Shipping Schedule for our special request UPS Air shipping method.
If you are having an issue getting your order delivered, please Contact Us as soon as possible so we can file a missing mail request and help locate your shipment. (Please include your order number when you contact us so we can assist you best.)
Due to new shipping regulations, we are offering a free gift with orders containing certain popular battery sizes - 18650, 20700, and 21700 batteries (read more here) with the following methods: USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, and UPS Air.
Please note if you choose a method that does not say "Free Gift" (e.g., UPS Ground), you won't receive one.
The free gift will be compatible with your purchased batteries, and examples of an item you might receive include a battery powered fan or flashlight. The type of free gift is up to us, subject to change without notice, and no requests will be honored.
How do I get the free gift with my order?
The free gift is of our choosing - please do not add anything to your cart.
My "Free Gift" doesn't work/stopped working/was damaged in shipping. Will you replace it?
We regret that we do not offer any guarantee or warranty with respect to any free items you receive with your order, including any free gifts you receive. The free gift has no monetarial value, and we will not replace free gifts that are damaged in transit.
I want to know more about the "Free Gift".
Due to the nature of the free gift, we regret that we can only answer questions about our products. Our service team cannot assist with questions about the "Free Gift" you will receive, including (but not limited to): the type of gift currently offered, the specifications, etc.
You can, but we do not recommend it. If you do so, and your package shows as "Delivered", our normal replacement policy will not apply. We cannot replace packages that show as "delivered" to a hotel or similar non-residential address (which includes freight forwarders).
Please check your order CAREFULLY before placing it. We regret we cannot be responsible for orders placed to undeliverable addresses. If your order is placed to an incorrect/undeliverable address, when your package is returned to us by the carrier, we will refund you the cost of the batteries minus your original shipping charges or any fees that have been assessed by the carrier for the return. You will receive an email once the refund has been processed.
For orders of more than 100 batteries, we may, at our discretion, accommodate requests to bill to your UPS or FedEx account if you provide us with the account number.
If you choose to use another carrier, such as your own freight carrier, you may contact us for more information regarding pickups.
Important: If you choose to use your own account or courier, Liion Wholesale will not be responsible for any lost or damaged shipments.
If you buy batteries from us, you'll get a free LiionWholesale case. It's just one more thing we do to help you be safe and get the most out of your batteries. The case will usually apply to whatever batteries you bought, note it's our discretion the style of case.
We do NOT supply free cases to orders of greater than 25 batteries, as they are assumed to be wholesale orders.
Limitations to the number of cases DO apply, so please read our entire free case policy.
How do I get more than one case?
We offer an additional free case for every pair of batteries, up to 12 total cases. Note that orders over 25 batteries will receive ONLY 1 free case, as they will be assumed to be wholesale orders.

If you need additional cases, or are a wholesale customer who needs cases for resale, we offer a variety of battery cases for sale, for cheap!
Should I add a case/cases to my cart (to get them for free)?
No, please do not add any free cases to your order. They will be added when your shipment is packed. If you add more cases to your order, we will assume you want to purchase them, and you will be charged.
I didn't buy batteries from you, just a charger. Do I still get a free case?
If you didn't buy batteries from us, we can't include a free case. But if you need to buy a case, we offer a variety of battery cases for sale, for cheap!
I was in the middle of checkout, then it suddenly told me the product was out of stock, but your site still says it's in stock? What do I do?
Sometimes our pricing updates and it momentarily hiccups if someone is in the middle of checkout and thinks the product is out of stock when it's not. Please go ahead and check out again and it should work just fine. If you have trouble the second time, Contact Us and we'll make sure you can check out.
I want to return an order.
For purchases made between November 22 and December 24, 2018, we are extending our return period until January 11, 2018. Please refer to our Holiday Returns Policy if you are the purchaser, and our Holiday FAQ if you are the receiver to see how it applies to you. The rest of our normal policy applies.
See our store policies to see if your items are eligible for return. Note that we only accept returns 30 days after purchase, in new condition. If they are send us an email at email@example.com and let us know what's up and we'll take care of you.
Please note "CLEARANCE" items are not eligible for returns.
I bought a battery from you and it won't take an initial charge. Can I get a replacement?
For purchases made between November 22 and December 24, 2018, we are extending our defective products period until January 11, 2019. Please refer to our Holiday Returns Policy if you are the purchaser, and our Holiday FAQ if you are the receiver to see how it applies to you. The rest of our normal policy applies.
We ask that you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Please see our store policies for complete details. Failure to charge your batteries before first use will render you ineligible for replacement.

I bought a charger from you and now it's got an issue. Does it have a warranty?
All chargers we carry have a warranty, but the length of that warranty varies by brand. Please see our Charger Warranty Information page here.
If your order has not already shipped, please either send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org (preferred) or give us a call and we'll be happy to cancel your order for you. Please note that unfortunately you cannot do this online at this time.
If your order has already shipped, please email us and we'll help arrange a return. Please note that if your order has already shipped, your order is subject to all store policies regarding return eligibility.
Yes. For an additional fee of $2/battery, we can add battery tabs to the batteries you are purchasing from us. Please note that there is a minimum fabrication charge of $5.
VERY IMPORTANT - Batteries ordered with tabs will take at least 1-2 weeks (not including holidays and weekends!) to ship. As this is a special order service, turnaround time is approximate and not guaranteed. Please contact us if you need to know exactly when your order will ship.
Please note that any items ordered with this service (chargers, etc.) will not be shipped separately.

I want you to add tabs to batteries I purchased from another company?
We do not weld tabs on batteries not purchased from us.
