This battery is manufactured under the Liion Wholesale brand and uses as its main component a genuine 30Q 3000 mAh battery cell from a Korean household name cell manufacturer. This is an amazing cell, extremely low internal resistance similar to the 25R but with a higher capacity of 3 Ah. As always with Liion Wholesale, you can be confident we only use grade A cells in our manufacture.
The cell is made as a flat top from the cell manufacturer. Then we put on a high quality low resistance button top and wrap in a secondary layer of protective PVC. Please note that this battery lacks PCB protection and therefore IS NOT an approved application by the cell manufacturer, so use at your own risk. These cells can be very dangerous if misused and are only for advanced users who understand how to use and store unprotected cells safely.
These batteries were designed specifically as Thorfire Q8 batteries, but would also work great in any high discharge lighting situation or other application that needs button tops and high discharge.
These are BUTTON TOP batteries and WILL NOT WORK where flat tops are required (Don't know which kind of batteries you need? Please Contact Us before ordering.)

Battery Warning
Warning: Lithium ion batteries may explode or burn due to improper use. Using these batteries for purposes not intended by the manufacturer, including outside a battery pack and/or without a BMS, may cause severe injury and damage. We are not responsible for any injuries caused by lithium ion batteries - use at your own risk.
All rechargeable batteries have inherent risks under any circumstance. Use caution with working with li-ion batteries (lithium-ion), LiPo (lithium ion polymer), and any rechargeable cells (together "rechargeable batteries"), as they have dangerous charging characteristics and are known to explode or burn if mishandled. A purchaser and user of rechargeable batteries should educate themselves on rechargeable batteries, especially as to charging, discharging, assembly, and storage. Learn more about proper storage and care for rechargeable batteries here. We are not responsible for any damage caused by the misuse or mishandling of rechargeable batteries.
Here are a few tips:
Never completely discharge batteries (usually below 2.5V for li-ion or 2.0V for LiFePO4, check datasheet)
Charge fully (usually to 4.2V for lithium ion or 3.6V for LiFePO4) before first use
Never charge batteries to more than their full charge voltage
Do not charge unattended
Do not store your li-ion batteries fully charged for an extended period of time (weeks or more)
If you must store your battery for a long time, only store in a case or individual box in a cool and dry place at approximately 3.5-3.7V for li-ion or 3.2V for LiFePO4
Use only high quality battery chargers
Do not expose to heat
Do not connect the positive contact to the negative contact without an appropriate load
Never exceed the battery's specifications
Never try to charge or discharge li-ion batteries with battery chargers that are not made for li-ion batteries
Always charge these batteries on and within fireproof material
Never leave rechargeable batteries in a recharging station unattended
Do not use any rechargeable battery or charger if any visible damage is present, or if known mishandling, accidental or otherwise, has occurred
Always store and transport rechargeable cells in a safe, non-conductive container (never keep a spare battery loose in a pocket, purse, etc. and always use protective cases)
Properly dispose of all battery cells and chargers in accordance with local laws and mandates (if you're unsure, contact your local municipality)
If a rechargeable battery overheats, hisses, or bulges, immediately quarantine the battery from any combustible materials - ideally, take the battery outside
If a rechargeable battery catches fire, the FAA recommends pouring water or soda on the battery and surrounding areas - ideally, use a foam extinguisher to quell the fire

BUTTON Top Samsung INR18650-30Q 15A 3000mAh 18650 Battery
I bought 4 of these batteries to use in my flashlight a wowtac A4 which is power hungry on the high setting , the Samsung INR18650-30Q 15A 3000mAh 18650 Batteries work great and run longer in turbo mode than any battery I have used in this flashlight so far, can't beat them for this price
What device/application do you use this with?Wowtac A4 flashlight
Listing claims the INT18650-30Q 15A battery is the Samsung battery, just with a LIION label instead of Samsung. However there is 1 discrepancy that I’m not sure how to reconcile unless it has something to do with adding the button top. The 30Q Samsung’s I own differ in that they are 3.7v where as the LIION INR re-branded version shows 3.6v on the label. Why the difference?
What device/application do you use this with?High drain high lumen flashlights
Usually Quality batteries. However, as I have learned from other experiences(P26A). We can not possibly rate a battery after Three weeks. Depending on degradation, It can not be judged for at least one year.
What device/application do you use this with?Modified X65vn Mini. FLASHLIGHT
Batteries came with a case as always. The battery wraps were clean and straight with no damage as expected. USPS was lame, but can't blame that on lion wholesale. Though I do wish they offered other shipping options. The batteries work great in my flashlight.
What device/application do you use this with?Thrunite TC15
Purchased these batteries to get a longer run time for a rechargeable flashlight. They worked great for 4 months. After that they will no longer take a charge.. The original battery that that came with the flashlight still works fine. In addition only one of the 2 batteries had the Samsung name on it. when they arrived.

Hi Michael - Thank you for your review. The brand of the battery is typically located under the shipping label that is placed on the batteries. If you remove that label, you will be able to see the "Samsung". We will contact you via email to see if we can assist you with the issue you are having with your batteries.

A:Hi Lori - Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately the 30Q is extremely hard to find right now, but our team is still looking. The only other unprotected button top 18650 we have in stock would be the Molicel P26A (https://liionwholesale.com/products/molicel-npe-inr-18650-p26a-35a-2600mah-button-top-18650-battery-authorized-distributor).

Q:I ordered and received the Nitecore New i4 charger (which I can not register for warranty because there is no 16 digit verification label on the box) and 4 18650 Samsung button top Q30 lithium ion batteries. I was given a gift of a single (18650?) battery LED zoom flashlight. I received no information for the flashlight. I am not sure what battery it should use. I want to order more batteries but am not sure what to order for this gift flashlight. Lithium ion batteries are very new to me and I do not want to cause a fire because I used the wrong battery in it. Can I use the 18650 Samsun Q30 button top lithium ion batteries in it? My order # was S85858, date 9/23/2019, user 2430941364318 and the ship date was 9/24/2019. Thank you for your time, Kevin.

A:Hi Kevin - Thank you for contacting us. The verification label is actually a very small sticker on the top of the charger's box. You will need to scratch it to reveal your 16-digit code. As for the flashlight, that flashlight can be used with any 18650, 20700 or 21700 lithium ion battery. That includes the button top 30Q cells you purchased as well as protected button top batteries. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Q:I am looking for good battery for my x7 marauder flashlight. The ones I bought with the unit does not allow me to use the brightest setting your professional opinion would be very helpful thank you.. I have the olight 18650 3.6v 3500mah 10a 12.6wh. This seems to be a common issue.

A:Hi Zubie - It sounds like there is a problem with your flashlight if you cannot use the highest setting, unless it requires different batteries? I would start with the flashlight manufacturer regarding that problem. In terms of batteries, the Olight 18650 you mentioned is a protected battery. We suggest using protected batteries whenever possible. If you elect to use a non-protected cell, it is at the expense of safety, and that is a choice you make at your own risk (to get the maximum brightness possible, you will need to go unprotected). The battery you're asking about, the 30Q button top, is an unprotected battery and should be handled with care, but it will provide more power than the protected cell you're currently using. For most folks and off the shelf flashlights, we suggest considering the protected button top NCR18650GA. It does a very good job, and is a protected battery, with probably a negligible difference in output.
